SEO Marketing

SEO Marketing is a must for the majority companies which uses the Internet, retailers make no exceptions. Everybody wants free traffic from search engines.

How free is the traffic from search engines?

From what I saw so far almost everyone says the traffic coming form search engine is free. But they are wrong, very wrong.

To get traffic from search engines is never free. Your site must be in the top and to get your site there either you pay to use a service like Directory Submission Services either you hire someone to promote your site and that will cost you, either do it yourself and you will need the technical knowledge which also costs money and time.

So the traffic from search engines it is never free: it costs money and effort.

My advice is to externalize all the work but if you have a tiny budget here is what I do to receive 20000-50000 visitor every month (it depends on the niche):

  • I make a list of keywords for the site. For that I use the free word tracker because it goes deep with the research and the Google keyword tool because it uses synonyms.
  • I look for long tale keywords for the internal pages/posts
  • I use one keyword per page with 3-4 variations and synonyms
  • I use the keywords in the headers, once at the beginning of the page, once on the middle and once in footer
  • I create meta tags with my keyword in them
  • I put a social bookmark button
  • I link to my home page and to other pages of the site
  • I use a directory submission service
  • If the site is a blog I submit it to blog directories and to RSS directories
  • I write 3 articles and submit them to the biggest article directories
  • I let my visitors link to me naturally.
