I just love fire. In the cold nights I get closer to my outdoor fireplace and make a grill. I cook and I get warm in the same time.

Brick Fireplace

This material gives your fireplace designs a strong face in the battle of the elements. When the spring storms roll in, rainfall and threats of tornados or other natural disasters are a constant threat, you can rest easy knowing that you have chosen one of the strongest and most viable materials for the project. While some bricks may need to be replaced on occasion, basic masonry skills allow you not to worry about accomplishing the desired results.

These basic skills are not hard to pick up, though they are considerably more difficult to master. You may wish to seek the help of a professional if you are a perfectionist.

Fire pits

Firebowls and fire pits are another heating idea for the outdoors. Their sizes and depths varies and the material may be made of metal such as copper, aged bronze or stainless steel. Some are made of stones like slate, marble or granite.

This type is very ideal for small spaces and for homeowners who do not want to have a permanent fireplace outside their homes. Common materials used for this are stones, bricks and metal. And other than the warmth it provides to families, an open fire pit can also be used for cooking barbecues during special gatherings.
